Terms of service

The service

links.et fetches and parses payment receipts from Ethiopian banks and wallets on your request. The result reflects what the issuing institution publishes at the moment we fetch it. We are not a bank and we do not move money. The service is run by Odit.

Plans and limits

• Each plan states its cap in new receipts per day or month, exactly as shown on the pricing page. A new receipt is one we fetch from the bank for the first time. Re-checking a receipt we have already verified is free and does not count.
• When you hit your cap, requests for new receipts return an error until the window resets, unless your plan has overage enabled.
• Prices are in Ethiopian birr. Annual billing covers ten months of the monthly price.

Fair use of the banks

We rate-limit our own traffic to every bank and wallet so their public receipt endpoints stay healthy. Attempts to use the service to scan, guess, or enumerate receipts that are not yours, or to overload an institution, will get an account suspended.

Your account

• Keep your API keys secret. Traffic on your keys counts as yours.
• You must have a lawful reason to check a receipt.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the upstream institutions.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. A verified receipt means the issuing institution published that data when we fetched it. It is not a guarantee against later reversal, nor financial or legal advice. Banks change their systems without notice and coverage can degrade while we adapt.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
