What this service does

links.et checks payment receipts. You give it a receipt link or reference from an Ethiopian bank or wallet, and it fetches the receipt from that institution and returns the parsed result. The service is run by Odit.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email, either from signup or from Google if you sign in with it. Social sign-in shares only your name, email, and avatar. We never see your Google password.
• Usage records: which receipts your account verified and when, so caps and billing work and you can see your own history.
• Verified receipts: receipts we fetch are cached so that re-checking one is instant and free. The cache stores what the bank publishes at the receipt link.
• A session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

What we never do

• We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We never post anything to your Google account.
• We never share one customer’s verification history with another customer.

Where data lives

Data is stored on servers we operate. Receipt fetches go directly to the issuing bank or wallet over their public receipt endpoints.

Deleting your data

Email us and we will delete your account and its usage records. Cached receipts are records of what the issuing institution publishes publicly and may be retained for other customers who verify the same receipt.
